Upload & download
Import your own subtitle files, or export the current subtitles as SRT to take with you.
Already have a subtitle file? Import it. Want to keep the subtitles you’ve built? Export them as SRT.
Import your own subtitles
Common formats are supported: .srt, .vtt, .json3. In the Settings tab, choose a file to upload and use it as primary or secondary subtitles—with translation and practice, same as built-in tracks.
Export as SRT
When primary or secondary subtitles have a track selected and are fully loaded, you can download them as SRT: Settings tab → “Export subtitles” → “Download”.
Especially handy on YouTube—save subtitles from subtitle enhancement or Whisper and use them elsewhere later.
When it’s useful
- You have official or custom subtitles and want them for study.
- You want to keep cleaned-up subtitles for offline use or another device.
- You need generated subtitles for editing or note-taking tools.
