Hover to reveal

Hide translations until you need them—hover to peek. Perfect for self-testing.

Staring at the translation all the time makes it hard to improve. Hover to reveal hides subtitles until you actually need them—move your cursor over to see the answer.

How to use

In the Settings tab, turn on Hover to reveal. Subtitles stay hidden by default; hover over the subtitle area to show them (on mobile, tap the hint label).

Why it helps

  • Forces you to listen first: If you understood it, you don’t need to look. If not, reveal it.
  • Only what you need: The whole translation isn’t sitting on screen.
  • Pop quiz mode: Check line by line how much you really got.

Note

Hover to reveal needs a mouse hover—it’s mainly for desktop. On mobile, use Mobile and tap the hint label to reveal. For deeper practice, try Dictation mode.
