Subtitle Reader

Select any subtitle, then press ALT + L to start reading it aloud.

Voice

The voice option is set to automatic by default. The extension will automatically select an appropriate voice based on the subtitle language. You can also manually choose a preferred voice, but please make sure the language of the selected voice matches the subtitle language, otherwise the speech may not be synthesized correctly.

Rate

In most cases, you'll want the speech to finish before the subtitle ends, so you may need to increase the rate. Please note that some languages may fail to synthesize properly at very high rates. If you encounter this issue, try setting the rate to the lowest level first, then gradually increase it.
